Hard Hat Scout is an information service that provides construction opportunity intelligence based on publicly available planning, development, permitting, and government-project activity. We organize publicly available information for contractors but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

No Guarantee of Opportunities

Hard Hat Scout does not guarantee contracts, project awards, jobs, revenue, or a specific number of opportunities. Project availability, scope, timing, contacts, procurement requirements, and contractor selection may change. Each customer must independently evaluate opportunities before pursuing them.

Information May Change

Public information may contain errors, delays, or inaccuracies. Hard Hat Scout is not responsible for errors or omissions in publicly available source data. We recommend that contractors verify all project information through original public sources before making business decisions.

Independent Evaluation Required

Customers must independently evaluate all opportunities. Hard Hat Scout provides intelligence for informational purposes only. We do not provide bidding, legal, financial, or procurement advice. Customers should consult appropriate professionals before pursuing any construction project.

Subscription and Billing

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions are offered on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Pricing and availability of Hard Hat Scout services may change at any time.

Not Legal, Financial, or Bidding Advice

Hard Hat Scout is an information service. Nothing provided by Hard Hat Scout constitutes legal, financial, or bidding advice. Customers should consult qualified professionals for legal, financial, and procurement guidance.

Contractor Matching for Project Owners

Through our Find a Contractor page, Hard Hat Scout facilitates introductions between project owners and Preferred Trade Partners. Hard Hat Scout does not perform construction work and is not a general contractor, subcontractor, construction manager or employer of any contractor.

Contractors are independent businesses that determine their own availability, pricing, estimates, contracts, scope of work, performance, licensing and insurance. Hard Hat Scout does not guarantee contractor availability, acceptance of a project, pricing, quality of work or project completion. Project owners are responsible for reviewing and verifying the licensing, insurance, references and qualifications of any contractor they hire.

Limitation of Liability

Hard Hat Scout is not liable for any decisions made based on information provided through our service. Customers are solely responsible for evaluating and pursuing opportunities.
