Payment Processing

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card information. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe under their own security and privacy standards.

How We Use Information

We use the information you provide to deliver relevant construction opportunity intelligence, communicate with you about your subscription, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Public Information

Hard Hat Scout monitors publicly available planning, development, permitting, and government-project activity. We organize this public information for contractors but do not claim ownership of the underlying public data.

Project Owner Information

If you request a contractor match through our Find a Contractor page, we collect the information you choose to send us, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, project location, trades requested, project description, timeline, optional budget range, and any other project details you provide.

We use this information to review your request and identify Preferred Trade Partners whose trade, service area and project focus may fit your project. By checking the consent box on the request form, you agree that we may share relevant project and contact information with selected Preferred Trade Partners, who may contact you about your request. Contractors that receive your information are independent businesses. Please do not include sensitive financial, identity or payment information in your request.
